A well-known founder I respect recently told me: “In retrospect I mistakenly created the wrong life for myself.” If you secretly feel this way, you’re not alone.

I suspect many founders run into the same problem. Mainly because scaling a company requires you to do tasks you don’t want to do (mainly management) that is demotivating.

Founders just simply need to: • Understand web3 ethos • Have long term vision • While also in tune with current meta • Be connected to the community • Passionate about building IP • Ability to execute flawlessly • Have great taste • & have thick skin

The easy part is “creating a company” and not “running a company” — whether in Web2 or Web3. Easy to put a logo and name together. Very hard to tough it out, especially in public. The last point is important.

1 piece of advice from me

As a trader, the path forward is not just winning every trade. Ignore the idea that you can’t lose on a trade and embrace losses.

“The trick isn’t to not lose money on trades, it’s to make an absurd amount winning so you ignore the losses.”
