The Daily Loop #35
Thirty-fifth edition of The Daily Loop. 3 long-form reads, 3 short-term tweets, 1 quote and some daily advice! Have a read.
The Daily Loop newsletter focuses on information that can be consumed in 2 minutes every day by linking to posts across the internet, formatted in a way that is easy for anyone to navigate. In a 3-3-1-1 design.
The goal is for as many people to read this daily and inspire them to think differently about certain things. It will primarily be around topics and industries I am interested in such as: startups, ai, success, innovation, change, crypto, nfts, etc.
3 long-form reads

As a builder, I always try to look at cool industries and things being created—it inspires me. It also gives ideas for new businesses. But always good to know your limit.

I may or may not have shared this already. But some good advice nonetheless. Understand the pressure of starting an NFT project, because it’s new ground. And same for collectors who may think they are entitled to equity in a company because they bought an NFT.

2023: The year of solo entrepreneurs
Any year after that, I can not guarantee that AI will continue to be just a tool.
3 short-form tweets

This was one of the reasons why I entered the NFT space (originally as an artist). It clicked for me quickly. It’s faster, easier and more digital-native.
2/
I usually try to retweet some art every day. Always great to look back and find something beautiful. I won’t share many pieces on the Daily Loop, but wanted to mention that and hopefully inspire some of you to check out more artists!

This is pretty common in the industry. I think everyone agrees that it happens.
As a founder, understand it before it happens to you!
1 good quote
"I never understand anything until I have written about it."—Horace Walpole
1 piece of advice from me
If you don’t understand a tweet from someone because they are using words new to you—put it in ChatGPT and ask it to rephrase it for you and/or ELI5.
Have tried it with a few tweets from gigabrains and works so well. No need to be an outsider that doesn’t get it anymore!
