If you’re raising seek advice from founders who raised pre 2020 not 20-22. It will take extra effort to connect with founders who raised your series financing 3+ yrs ago, but it will be a lot more relevant and helpful.

This is something I’ve learnt throughout the last 2 years! The euphoria in 21’—22’ was insane and nothing like we’ve seen before. Raising then is not the same as raising now. Get advice from those that raised in non euphoric markets.

1 piece of advice from me

The crazy euphoria in markets gets to you. Dismiss most things about markets you may have learnt then. When trying to raise previously, I asked for unreasonable amounts—a few people told me that—and I realised that soon after.
