TL;DR—Don’t build the “company”, keep the burn low, software is an execution game, by careful with investor feedback, centralize lessons learned, don’t write perfect code, raising capital is a numbers game, build coin-operated machines, start niche then scale, get distribution, set up data collection and avoid the “easy” partnership.
This is a great thread. Will recommend this all the time, summarises a lot of the lessons I’ve learnt as a first-time founder already.
1 piece of advice from me
Some days you will feel like you haven’t achieved enough… that’s normal. Treat them as resets. Understand it was a failed day, and then use the next day to make up for it.
That mental model will help you.
