Someone I know with a really successful business that has a heavy focus on SEO shared this thread. Insightful indeed when learning from experts in a field.
1 piece of advice from me
Had a question today on if blockchain gaming will have another cycle, my response:
Just like every market, there will be times of hype and extreme speculation that causes an eventual downtrend (we saw this in '21).
Those that hopped on the bandwagon will disappear, prices will go down and conviction is lost. But if the fundamentals are strong, you just need a winning product to be created. In blockchain gaming, it's a fun game with a sustainable model where users enjoy the idea of digital ownership.
One game. That is all you need to succeed for the market to do well. This will lead to the next cycle that I believe will be bigger than anything we've seen before. One underrated fact is that if the core leading product is a fun game, it's stronger than most other selling points of Crypto protocols because games are recession-resistant.
Betting against the blockchain gaming market having another cycle is basically betting against the fact that:
A) Users prefer digital ownership over endlessly renting items
B) A fun game can be created in this industry
C) No one cares about the narrative of "blockchain gaming"
I for one will not be on the other side of the bet.
